Making "New Yearer"

Famous last words. 400+ Photoshop layers later (because each date is a separate text item) I was done. I was very happy that I was able to find a typeface that looks like a cartoonist's handwriting to use for the month names.

Carol had the idea of posing the boys with all of the things they'd need for a year of fun. The picture didn't come out so well. (Let's just say there was a certain frustration with posing.) In case you can't tell, Benjamin is wearing a ski hat and holding skis in one hand and is holding a football in the other. Jeremy is holding a baseball in one hand, a tennis racquet in the other, and is wearing swim goggles and floaties. He is standing in front of a sled. On the table in front of them are: ping pong paddles, a Chanukiah and gifts, a skateboard, a basketball, a sand shovel, a birthday party hat, and a lego structure. They are posed in front of a beach scene. That makes for a fun year. (Much better than our year full of Mondays!)
